Hi, I’m Natasha!
I am an English teacher for adults with a CELTA Certificate (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) from the University of Cambridge, English and an IH Certificate in Teaching One-to-One from the International House World Organization.
I was born and raised in Croatia. I moved to the Netherlands in 2020 for my job as a travel advisor.
What does the phrase 'the elf tutor' mean?
I teach English through ELF—that’s English as a Lingua Franca, not a tiny woodland creature with pointy ears.
My goal is to help people from all backgrounds use English clearly and confidently, no matter their accent.

Experience
With over 25 years of experience in the travel industry and a lifetime of loving the English language, I have been, and still am, teaching through several language institutes around the Netherlands and Croatia.
I have taught General English at all levels in groups and individually, and I have taught Business English individually. I have taught English to refugees and on-site for companies, including those in the tourism and travel industry.
I am available online and in person.

I value the importance of independent learning and the growth that comes from life experiences. When it comes to teaching, I enjoy using a combination of lecture and discussion or debate. I appreciate a structured approach to instruction and often find one-on-one classes to be especially effective.
